West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui insists his side’s results are improving but admits there is still work to be done. The Hammers were booed by supporters at the London Stadium after losing 3-0 to Chelsea on Saturday. Their third consecutive home defeat at the start of the Premier League season.
The 58-year-old has won just one of his first five league games since replacing David Moyes in the summer.สมัคร ufabet
Next up is a trip to Anfield in the third round of the League Cup against Liverpool. With the Spaniard hinting there will be rotation in his squad despite needing a win to boost confidence.
“All of them (the players) have a chance to play. But I repeat again that we have to keep the balance of the team tomorrow (Wednesday).” Lopetegui said.
“Of course there will be changes but we have to try to use all our squad. But always think that the team we are leaving is ready to compete at Anfield for a very difficult task.”
“We will play against the defending champions and we will play at Anfield. We face all the competition with the intention of doing our best and going as far as we can in the competition. It will not be easy but we will go there with this ambition.”
West Ham handing Chelsea victory was a cause for concern, with Lopetegui clearly criticising their poor performance.
“Mistakes are part of football because we have to make decisions. Sometimes we do better, sometimes we do worse. I’m sure the team will compete better and the results we want will come.”
